I just found the following information on the Drennon family in some old papers. I could not find George Drennon's email so maybe he will see this and contact me.

Letter as follows

Family Record from Drennon's Line-
Six young men deserted .the British Army in 1775 and went to Washington D. C. Three Harrisons and three Drennons. The Harrisons were English. The Drennons were Irish. They married and settled in Maryland near Baltimore. The Drennons were John, Charles and Thomas.
Our line is from John's family.

John Drennon and wife had 6 children: three boys and three girls. Two of the girls married Deckards; the other a McCarty. The boys names were John, William and James. John Drennon married Susan Deckard.

William Drennon lost all of his family except one, by the Indians, on the Kentucky River. The place is known to this day as the Drennon Landing. The boy who escaped the massacre went to California with Gen. Fremont.

Jno. Drennon and wife had four (4) boys and two (2) girls. The girls' names were Elizabeth and Mary. The boys were: Aaron.. who fell at the battle of the !'Alamo" with Gen. Corbet. Abram S. was father of C. B. ~ A. Clay~ Mollie, Nannie B., Elizabeth and Mariah L. Benjamin
Vincent and Whitlock M. (brothers of A. S.) Aunt Mary married a John Drennon Beedle. Elizabeth married a Blankanship~ Minister to Spain.
One of the Blankanship girls when only - years old could speak five
A. S. Drennon married a Sawyer.

Our line of Drennon's were among the first white people to settle in Kentucky.

C. Buchanan married a Mrs. Seagraves~ who died in the year . C. Buchanan afterwards married a Mrs. Lorillard who was mother of two boys. The Lorillards are of the famous "snuff" manufacturers.

A. Clay~ in the year eighteen hundred and eighty~ left Arkansas for Texas. He married a Miss Jennie Russel of Bentonville, Ark. They afterwards parted. They had one child named Effie A. After being divorced he married Alice Hausmann (German).
They have children (two boys and girl). ~
Mollie S. married a Simmons. They had one child named Edward.
After Mr. Simmons' death Mollie married a Mr. H. Pesterfield. They have one child~ a girl, Florence.

Nannie B. married David W. Snodgrass. They have four c.hildren:
Roy A. ~ A. Clay~ M. Kate and George M. (Died Okla.' 192.0 (?))/
Elizabeth E. married a C. B. Coble. They had 6 children~ all boys:
William, Claude, Kosiuska, Omar, Harry and John
