Jacob Drennon who est. Drennon's Lick on the KY. River in 1773

Am seeking any info on Jacob Drennon who established Drennon's Lick on the Kentucky River in 1773. He was shot out of his canoe on the Kentucky in late 1777 or early 1778. Thanks!
