An excellent source for researching the MUNROE family is "The Munroe Book, Being the History of the Munro Clan From its Origins in Scotland To Settlement in New England And Migration to the West, 1652 - 18540 and Beyond" (Why were the titles always so long?!) by Joan S. Guilford, PhD, ISBN 1-881851-04-4, 1993. The copy I have used is in the Seattle Public Library and it lists the publisher as: Genealogy Publishing Service, 448 Ruby Mine Road, Franklin, NC 28734.

I have been searching for a copy using various Internet finders but, have been unsuccessful so far. If anyone does find a reliable source for this volume, please let me in on it!
