Dressers in Maine

Most Dressers in this country can trace their lines back to John and Mary Dresser in 1638 Salem, MA, (followed by the founding of Rowley, MA, the following spring). In the centuries that passed, Dressers migrated out from the Rowley area to all parts of New England and then further west.

My particular line goes due west - to western MA, upstate New York, northern IL, and then Minnesota. However, there are many Dresser branches that travel north into Maine.
