The son who died at 18 and is buried beside his mother is the one I believe the newspaper clipping said drowned. If you'd care to send me your snail mail address I'll send a copy of the clipping as well as a print-out of what I have on Oscar's siblings.
Last night when I got home I checked the Ohio death certificates that I had gotten based on the online information they have and I have one for a David Dressler who died 12 Jun 1918 - his address is given as 692 Scholler, his birthdate is given as 14 Jan 1837, which is why I didn't think it was "my" David - it could be wrong, of course, wouldn't be the first time, and his parents are "unknown" - the informant is Harriet Dressler and burial is East Akron Cemetery.I ordered Harriet's death certificate to see if I could find anything on her and it listed her address as 692 Scholler, birthdate 10 Apr 1878 and her mother as Louise C. Atwood, burial also East Akron cemetery - do you know anything about her?I'll send copies of those as well, if you'd like.
I'm really happy to have finally connected with someone else in the family!
Kathy
