Maybe this will help a little.I have a copy of a page from a book on Augusta Co., VA deeds:
"Andrew Dresler, assignee of Jacob Amon/Aughmon/Aummon; 10 Feb 1762 - survey N.d.; 90 acres where he lives on Funks Mill Run including Amons improvements; adj. Jacob Funk, Henry Felkner, Jacob and John Funkhouser, Adam Brobeck.CC - Cunrod Fix (Six?) & Adam Brobeck. Surv. Peter Stephens."
"23 Apr 1768 - 'We Jacob Amon and Elixabeth my wife are bound unto Andrew Dresler' for 100 pounds. They will deed to Dresler this tract where they live adj. Jacob Fanghouser, Adam Brobek & Henry Felkner.Dresler to pay for deed & survey.'..if the old people give and make over all whatt the(y) have to said Dresler after their decease, and now while they live they let Dresler have all the working tools (except an ax and a croping howe)."
I do not have a copy of the rest of the item.I am not related to any of these people, but I believe my children are descendants of Hedricks who lived in Pennsylvania, then Augusta Co., VA.
