No,I didn't send you the sources of my info.However, if you want to verify anything I sent you let me know and I'll send you a copy of the document.I'm like you (and that's a good thing) I don't take anyones word.I guess the biggest thing you will want me to verify is the belief that Johannes Dressler/Drasshel who was the father of John Petter and both sailed together on the Ship Samuel in 1739 is supposed to be the father of our Henry and Charles Dressler. This was in Pauline Skinners history of David Dressler/Tresel of Rockingham Co., VA.The other thing is that Peter was married to Margaret Showlater.I have the handwritten copy of the genealogy of the Showalters with dates, etc that proves that Margaret could not have married our John Peter, but could have married a son.(The dates couldn't match unless Margaret was only about 10 when she had Henry.)The checks and balances keep our family history from getting corrupt.Keep up the good work!
