I'm a little late on this, for I have been posting on the Drewry forum. Rachel is in my direct maternal line, so I am very interested in her. I have some guesses about her parents and their lines. There is nothing for sure, but a will of William Drewry in Southampton County is the basis of my theory. A Rachel of the right age, time frame and location is mentioned. I would be glad to share.
I am descended from Rachel's daughter Mary who married Thomas H. Harris in Wilson County Tenn, in 1816. Much later they moved to Jersey Co. IL. They had 11 children, but only a few made it to adulthood. It is so sad.
E-mail me if you want to correspond.
