Hi Tim-- Not sure if this might be your Charles. I stumbled across this bit in the Alberta papers looking for some of my own folks. This is NO RELATION to me. But when I run across something like this that could be a brick wall for someone, I try to help out where I can. There is a Charles Driffel mentioned in the High River Times, (High River, Alberta) newspaper on May 31, 1928, p. 5. Says he had been there 13 years, and that he died of the flu. He is buried in High River. When it mentioned that he had a wife and daughter "somewhere in the US" who didn't know about his death, this looked like a challenge for someone who might be looking for him.
