Ed & all -- I do not know of a D. J. Dromgoole, but with a last name like that and in Colorado Texas, thought I'd also post that my GG grandmother, Sarah M. Gilbert Dromgoole died there in 1857. She was the widow of William Alexander Dromgoole and the mother of my John G. Dromgoole who about that time 1858 married Minerva Griffin in Guadalupe Co. (Seguin). I would sure like to know more about your Dromgoole family -- you gotta believe there's a connection! Her sister Frances (Frankey) Gilbert Montgomery was living there and that's probably why she moved to Eagle Lake after her husband died.
