Hello Patrick,

I can't answer your questions, but I have some for you. My husband has Harrisons and Dromgooles in his family from Brunswick County, Virginia but they are descended from the slaves of these families. His mother was a Harrison. Also on his mother's side are Govans, and I found where a Washington Govan married a Roberta Dromgoole. There is also a child named Harrison Govan.

Do you know anything about the families, where they might have lived in Brunswick County, or how they might have intermarried? I have not been able to put together all of the names...yet.
