Agnes Drozd/Henry Oldag/Tx.
While searching thru old newspaper clipping at an estate sale, I found an obituary, undated with the following information:
Pioneer Citizen Dies Suddenly of Heat Attack
Death claimed another of the pioneer citizens of Sealy [Tx] in the passing of our old friend and neithbor, henry Oldag, last Sunday. His body was found early Monday morning by his daughters, Mesdames H. Viereck and S.B. Foehner, when they went to his place of abode near town to look after his daily needs. It is believed that as he attended his duties on this little poultry farm near town last Sunday afternoon that he was stricken suddenly, death following immediately. When the body was found it was evident that he was bearing an arm load of wood when death overtook him.................
Henry Oldag was born at Millheim, Texas, April 1, 1870.In 1892 he was married to Miss AGNES DROZD at Rexville, Texas. To this union five children were born, the oldest, their only son, dying in infancy. His parents and two brothers also preceeded him in death. The surviving members of his family are his wife, Mrs. Agnes Oldag; four daughters, Mesdames W.A.
