I'm hoping to start my researches shortly. My starting point is my grandfather Thomas Anthony, born 1885 plus or minus 1, and living in Birmingham at the time of his marriage, 1908 (for sure)and possibly born there. Served with the Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry, which seems to indicate connections further south. His father was Anthony Druce, a Carter. Does this suggest any connections to your own researches?
