looking for Helen Druce

In our research of our Uncle (Wayne Laubert) who was killed in WWII, we have letters he wrote where he talked about his girlfriend.

Per his sisters, they think her name was Helen Druce.
Nickname, ?"Skipper"

Maybe from Missouri? or did he meet her while in his in states training? or when he worked in Ohio before being drafted?

We would like to find her or her family.

What was her story/memories? She was a part of his life, and we would be so appreciative of adding her thoughts or her family's in our tribute book to him.

Any help/leads/info would be forever treasured.

Thank you.
Debra H.
