I'm also interested in this case "Powell vs. Mims" because my Exolheath PAGE of Goochland Co., VA was also called by the court to make a deposition in this case.

Have you found any more of these depositions? I only have the same one as you do---by Thomas Starke.

In the same case, the Goochland Co., VA Ct. ordered depositions by Wilmouth Starke, William Brushwood, Dorotha Weatherspoon, Rice Brooh (or Broch?) and Elizabeth Nunn.
(Goochland Co., VA Ct. Order Bk. 8:397)

The court may have ordered depositions from other persons in this case, but I have not found them.

I'm interested in obtaining all of these depositions and the one made by Exolheath PAGE in this case.

I suspect that these papers may either be still in the Goochland Co., VA courthouse---possibly under the estate records of William DRUMWRIGHT/DRUMRIGHT

They may be in the VA State Archives, filed under the names of the persons giving the depositions or under the estate of Wm. DRUMWRIGHT/DRUMRIGHT.

I, myself, cannot get to these places to search for these records, but hope that someone else interested in them could do it and let us know what they say.
