I'm interested in corresponding with descendants of Conrad Henry Dryer and Martha A (Millie) Gunter Dryer of Howell County MO, who are my wife's GG-grandparents.

With regard to Conrad (b. 21 Jun 1838, d. 2 Jun 1907; often referred to by Dryer family members as "Judge Dryer"), I have basic information about his birth at Minden, Prussia and his emigration to America in 1853; his travel upon his arrival at New Orleans finally to Howell County MO; his marriage to Millie in January 1860 in Howell County; his service in the Confederate army during the Civil War; his business and political career in Howell County after the Civil War; and the date and location of his death and burial in Howell County. I also have the basic biographical details of his and Millie's 10 children, all of whom were born in Howell County:

1. Unknown twin daughter 1 (b. after 1860, d. at birth)
2. Unknown twin daughter 2 (b. after 1860, d. at birth)
3. John Henry (1865-1872)
4. Benjamin A. (1868-unknown)
5. Johanna Auguste (1870-1875)
6. Conrad Henry Jr. (1874-1927)
7. Dock Smith (1876-1954)
8. James Dallas (1879-1949)
9. Minnie Lee (1882-1883)
10. Sam (1884-1936)

With regard to Millie (b. 6 Aug 1843, d. 13 Oct 1917), I have basic information about her and her parents, Samuel Gunter and Millie Stone Gunter, and her siblings. Millie was born in Woodbury, Cannon Co TN. The Gunter and Stone clans lived in Cannon Co TN before Samuel and Millie migrated to Missouri sometime in the early 1850's.
