I understand the use of multiple names, it just seems like most people would use their legal name for "official" records.Stirling is just west of Edinburgh which is about 75 miles north of the border with England.The Thornhill near Dumfries is about 30 miles north of theborder.I wasn't aware that they're now charging to get into Register House; but I recently heard that gas in Edinburgh was about 80p per liter.I think that's about $5 per US gallon!!
