I am told by my grandfather that my great-grandfather and his family are from Cabrio de Guadelupe, Michuacan. My great-grandfather's name was Margarito Timoteo Duarte and he migrated to the US between 1905 and 1910. He left behind a few sisters, I believe. My grandfather visited just once in the early 70's. He thinks there was only one sister and a nephew left. Our family now lives in Denver, Co. The majority of our family reside in Northern New Mexico and the San Luis Valley in Southern Colorado.
