Phooey...I don't find an Emanuel Dubbs in the "Dubbs, Dubs, Dups and Toops Families" by Millbrook & Kay book...

So apparently, your Dubbs may descend from another Pennsylvania Dubbs family?

Possibly Emanuel may descend from a Henry Dubbs, who removed to Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio about 1825 from Pennsylvania or his brother, Daniel b. April 7, 1786, who in 1836 removed to Montgomery County, Ohio?? This is a different Pennsylvania Dubbs line from ours....found in "Genealogies of Pennsylvania Families"...from the Pennsylvania Magazine of History and Biography with an Introduction by Milton Rubincam...published in baltimore by Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc. 1981
