I posted a msg yesterday, but evidently it disappeared in cyberspace.

P. Ducey was Patrick Ducey of Waterford Ireland, who arrived in New Orleans in 1831, married Rose McLaughlin of Ireland about 1846 and had seven children with her in New Orleans between 1847 and 1860. He died in 1863 as a result of an illness contracted when captured by the Union Navy while running blockades for the South between Mobile AL and Havana.

I emailed your aol address; if you didn't get it, email me. I have more info and would love to know what you know about Patrick!
