I sure do appreciate all of your help with this.
It gets so frustrating at times...

I agree with you that Laurent DuCharme does seem to be almost too old to have been Cuthbert's Grandfather, more like his Great-Grandfather, perhaps, if Cuthbert even does descend from Laurent...?

Cuthbert married into the Sioux Nation, but he was a Naturalized US Citizen from Canada, and I have never known him to refer to his own Nationality as anything other than French-Canadian. I was I could say for sure whether he was or wasnt Metis.

I emailed you back a short while ago, will be waiting to hear back from you.
