Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Ray, I've found the following in the BMS2000.
1) Joseph CHARRON dit DUCHARME (Pierre+Marie BOUCHER), b. & bapt. 1835-06-22 in Ste-Élisabeth-de-Joliette, QC.. Sponsors: Prosper CHARRON dit DUCHARME & Rose CHORETTE.
Joseph's mother was a "dit DESROCHERS" which means "rocks" so it would be surprising that the translation in English would come to be known as LaROCK.
I have these people in my lineage. If you want to share info, please get in touch with me at: lineage42@hotmail.com
Joseph apparently was married in the U.S. so I don't have that information.
I can send you the file & would appreciate info re: your family in return.
