Bonjour,

Interesting that Pierre Ducharme was married twice to Marie Cadorette, fist in a protestant church, and second in a catholic church. Not very frequent, but not unusual either.

Now I received a few message from my friend Micheline Ducharme, who is the great grand-daughter of Pierre Ducharme and Marie Cadorette.

Micheline had known Maxime Ducharme, husband of Lydia Corbeil, who was the brother of her grand-father François. She is sure that both Maxime and François were the children of Pierre and Marie Cadorette (Maxime being the oldest), and that Pierre married only twice, first to Philomène Cadorette, then to Marie Cadorette.

For Pierre Ducharme and Philomène Leclerc, she believes that it is rather a mistake in Drouin, rather another Pierre Ducharme that lived in the aera.

A question to Jacqueline Molson: do you found original information about the marriage of Pierre Ducharme and Philomène Leclerc, such as a copy of marriage act?
