Interesting question. Here are a few clues.

1) Gail Morin's Métis Families Genealogical Compendium has a Cuthbert Ducharme christened on Aug 23, 1876, in St-Eustache,MB, son of Cuthbert or Corbett Ducharmeand Isabelle Morissette.

2) The 1900 census has a Cuthbert Ducharme in St-Laurent, MB, born in 1875, and married to Louise ?.

I think both are the same person, but I am not able to proove it now.
