I would like to thank Sonia for the information she provided! It's opened a lot of doors! Casimiro Duchesne Rafeal is the furthest duchesne that I can trace back in my family. He was part of the major command (musician) in the PR national guard during the Spanish American war. I dont know who he was married to but he had three children, Rafael (later to follow his fathers footsteps in music), Concebida, and Fransisca. Something happened to Casimiro and his wife resulting in his three children being placed in an orphanage. There the children were split. The sisters went to the US and Rafael stayed in PR to later continue his fathers legacy in the history of PR. Does anyone know about what happened to Casimiro and his wife (who was his wife)or anything about his two daughters children?
