Susannah Du Chesne was Philippe's 2nd wife

Philippe Antoni Du Trieux b Roubaix, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France 1586 d New Amsterdam, New Netherlands 8 Sept 1653 son of Phillipe Du Trieux and Jacquelyne ???

The father Philippe b Roubaix, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France abt 1554 was a Walloon/Huguenot who fled to England aft 1586 and died in Norwich, Norfolk, England 1601

The mother Jacquelyne b in Roubaix, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France abt 1564 married Philippe bef 1585. When Philippe died she moved from Norwich to Leyden, Netherlands and transferred her church membership from the Walloon Church in Norwich, England to Leyden.

The son Philippe went with his mother to the Netherlands and by 1614 he had lived on the Wale Pad or Wallon Avenue in Amsterdamj for about 10 months when he married at age 27

Wife #1 Jacqueline Noirett b Ryssel, France abt 1592 d Leyden, Netherlands abt 1620, dau of Arnould Noirett and Barbe Du Chesne

They were engaged in Amsterdam 1 April 1615 and were married 10 May 1615 She was "22 from Lisle" and had lived on the Wale Pad or Walloon Avenue for 12 years before her marriage

Children: Philippe 1616-1619, Maria 1617-1684 m Jan Peeck, Philip 1619-1653, Madelaine 1620-1620

Wife #2 Susannah Du Chesne b in Sedan, Champagne-Ardenne, France 1601 d New Amsterdam, New Netherlands 1660 dau of Pierre Du Chesne and Anne Fabri and niece of Barbe Du Chesne.

She married Philippe in Leyden, Netherlands 17 July, 1621 From the Archives of Amsterdam: "On 17 Jul 1621 appeared before the Commissaries of matters concerning marriages, Philippe Dutrieux of Roby aged 34 and living in the Runtstreat, worsted dyer, widower of Jacquemyne Noiret, to Susanna du Chesne, of Sedan aged 20"

In 1623 Philippe and Susannah left Leyden for New Amsterdam, New Netherlands in 1623 with the surviving children of Philippe and Jacqueline, Maria and Philippe.

Does anyone have more early info on this Du Chesne family ?
