Justine -- I know you, at least I think so. I doubt very much you'll be checking in with a post that you originally entered about 8 years ago, but if you do I can tell you that I and my family can recall meeting you and Anthony at my Uncle Mike's house (Uncle Sonny) in the early 60's. You guys were really small and shy and we were curious as heck because we had never met any adopted kids. That occasion I am sure was around the time you guys were first adopted. I think it was at a social gathering specifically geared to celebrate your arrival. I was about 9 or 10. We (my sister Eileen and I) had been told in the car on the way over how it came to be that you guys were adopted, but I doubt very much we were told anything reliable. Such was the way my parents chose to explain matters involving the real world in those days.

I of course had never heard the name Duchesne before today. I stumbled across your post because I was searching the obits for any info on Sonny and Mina. I can be contacted at tkasmir@gmail.com if you would like to converse more.
