I have a fairly complete line of ancestors from Pierre Duchesne, son of Jean Duchesne and Catherine Poulet, who was born in the parish of St. Georges, in the diocese of Amiens, in Picardie, France. He married in Quebec Jan. 7, l666, to Catherin Rivet, . His wedding contract was signed by the Governer Courcelles, the Marquis of Tracy and the Indendant Jean Talon, head officers of Quebec. My father was a Duchesne, born in Chicoutimi Oct. 7, 1892. Immigrated to Warren, Penna. The name was changed to Duchaine. If you would like more information I have quite a list. J. Murray
