The Sheffield connection has to be more than a coincidence given the rarity of the name.I was also born in Sheffield and have never come across any other Duckinfields. Please send me the list you have, as I'm sure I will find it invaluable.By the way who is George Stevenson?.I will be visiting my mother on sunday and will check for sure if her father was born in Sheffield. What is your connection to the Duckinfields?.I am not at all surprised there are a few different spellings.
