Your posting on the Geneaology.com Message Board regarding the Dudleston Family History was
very interesting to me. I've been trying to trace my father's family history. The earliest information we
have is as follows:

"In the year 1805 when their daughter Nancy was born, Thompson and Elizabeth Fiddy lived in Virginia.
Sometime before 1825 they moved to Coshocton Co., Ohio, where Nancy married Ralph Dudelston, January 19, 1825. Around 1840, Ralph died, and before 1845, Nancy moved to Delaware Co., Indiana. On December 24, 1845, Nancy married William Green. the children of Nancy and Ralph Dudelston were all born in Ohio. In 1880, Nancy Green was a widow living with her son, Isaiah and his daughter Nettie.

The town where the family lived in Ohio is Granville, located northeast of Muncie. The first white men settled in the
area in 1830. The settlement started on the banks of the Mississinewa River. It was a thriving community, but
when bypassed by the railroad it ceased to grow, and is now a small cluster of homes at a crossroad surrounded by
farmland. One of Nettie's children, (there were 9) still lives in Muncie. He is Harry Wilson, about 77 years old."

This comes from my father's cousin, Faye Duddleston Hall, and was recorded about 1973. I have more information
about this line of the family. Does this fit with your branch? We would appreciate any information you could share.
Many thanks,

Susan Barnett Rech
