Thanks so much for the help. My grandmother, Leone, did not
work as a nurse in Madison after 1930. I'm not certain whether she studied nursing before that. She took in boarders - usually students from UW - to make ends meet.

There were three Barnett brothers that I have identified
in the generation that moved to Wisconsin and settled in
the township of Summit, Juneau County: James, Frank S. and
William George (my relation). I believe they had at least
two sisters: Mabel and Mary Jane(called Jennie, I think.)
This Jennie was married to Emmet Darrow. They moved to
La Valle from a farm when older. I would love to know
where Beth Barnett fits into the picture.

I visited La Valle, very briefly, last summer and did stop
by the Mill and then by the old Duddleston farmhouse.
Would love to go back when I could spend some more time.
