My great great grandfather was Thomas Campion Duddy, married to Sara Delancie. They had several sons, Thomas, Arthur, Joseph and George William. GGGF Thomas had three brothers. All served in the civil war and all survived. He was murdered in Tennessee in 1881. His children were: Thomas (who had at least one son) was a policeman in Pittburgh, PA in 1910. Arthur (reported to have lived in Birmingmam, Alabama) had at least three sons. Joseph (no other info). George William (born 1875 in Dubuque, Iowa - my great grandfather). Henrietta who died at 18.
I don't see any direct links to the information you provided, but here are several tantilizing possibilities with similar family names and the reference to Birmingham.
Any hints of your family in Iowa or Tennessee in late 1800's or some old civil war stories?
