My 3x Great grandmother was a Bridget Duddy born somewhere in the North of Ireland, possibly Londonderry, in 1834, the daughter of Henry Duddy and Mary McIvor. I do not know any more details except that Henry and Mary had sons called Henry, Richard and James and that Mary came to Scotland about 1860. Mary McIvor Duddy died in 1886 nad it shows in the death certificate that her parents were Michael McIvor and Agnes Devine, do any of these names ring a bell ? I do know through my researches that a lot of my family came from Donegal and Londonderry to Carluke in Lanarkshire and others went to America, sorry I cant be more specific,
Jamie Whiteford
