I have just started to investigate the Duddy side of our family which is my wife's family. Based in Birmingham UK but with family folk law that the roots are Irish.

To date I am back to Thomas Duddy born in 1871 married Jane Draper. His parents Thomas and Margaret Donauhue dates unknown. I have found three duddy, doody and duddey family in birmingham from the IGI with Thomas' in St Phillips, Aston Juxta and St Martin - Parishes I think. Any help with tieing these threads together would be greatfully received.

Thomas also had a son Thomas which makes it even the more difficult.
