Jamie,
Thanks for your reply. Since I wrote,I have transcribed several extracts from the 1841 Census including 1 for a James Duddy & family in Ned,Tamlaght Finlagan,Derry. I did find 1 for Henry & Susannah Duddy & family in Monehanegan but did not see a listing for a James Duddy there. Ned is @ 4 miles N.E. Since I don't have confirmation of exactly where in Derry they came from, I can only go by some relatives mentioning the Limavady, Dungiven area but since they eventually settled in Killynaught, Tyr. which is S.W of Monehanegan I am focusing my research in that area. Please keep me in mind if you come across any additional Duddy info.
