I'm afraid I'm not much help to you, other than I recall a James Duddy who was a writer for the New York Post newspaper c. 1970-1980. Perhaps this is the James b. 1899?

My Duddy tree came over prior 1861, consisting of William B. Duddy & John Duddy, both of age to have fought in the American Civil War 1861-1865. All of the family seems to have settled in the Philadelphia - New York corridor.

Feel free to email me at

- Matt
