Four Duddys in Civil War!

Margaret, I'm all tingly with excitement that there may be a link here: I know of three Duddys, one of whom is my GGF, William B. Duddy, who served with the Pennsylvania Bucktails under General Meade in the Civil War. I have rubbings of two of their names from the Bucktail Monument at the Gettysburg battlefield. I wonder if the three that I know of (William, John and the third name I can't remember right now) are siblings of your Thomas Duddy?

Feel free to email me at to further investigate.

I've been looking for my tree's link back to Ireland/Scotland for years, and it seems it may be here somewhere.

- Matt
