John DUDDY, Galway
Posted by: Jack Lamphier (ID *****9132) Date: November 16, 2002 at 13:41:31
  of 86

I recently learned thet my great-grandfather,John DUDDY was born about 1839 in Galway.
Prior I had only an approximate dob , somewhere in IRE.
By 1868 he had ventured to Middlesex in England then Manchester by 1872.
His wife was Elizabeth Paine, b ca 1846 in Truro,Cornwall.
They had 8 children. My grandmother Margaret b 1881 was the only family member to come to the USA. She did so in 1904 as a member of a BWEA party.
Can anyone expound on either the Duddys of Galway or the Paines in Truro ?
