Hi Kay,

That is great to know, it makes me very proud to know that we are descended from Huguenots, they were great craftsmen, alot of English Silver was made by them, they were also known for their production of silk. In Ireland they started the Linen industry. From our family records (my Father always said that if you met a Dudney you were related) I have two Dudney's apprenticed in the 1600's so it makes sense. I watched a program recently called The House Detectives it showed a house in Spitalfields, London, which was originally built by a Huguenot, and was being restored, I hope they show it in U.S.A.

By the way DIEUDONNE in French means GOD GIVEN, How about that!!!!!
