Hi Shaun,

Thanks for the message I have been meaning to contact you for some time, but have not got round to it. My line is from Richard Dudney born 1825, Shermanbury Sussex, he moved to Erith around 1840, because I could not find him in 1841 cencus living in Shermanbury. In the 1881 cencus and he described himself as a Mineral Water Manufacturer although he was originally a Boot Maker, which was my Grandfather George's occupation. My email address is I have traced back to Richard's grand parents which is early 1700's. The Dudney's were in Shermanbury as far back as 1620 when Richarde Dudeney was married there. The name was sometimes spelt Dewdney which confuses matters. Anyway lets get in contact and share information.
