Dudney's of Madison County?
Posted by: Bradley D. Trimble Date: November 22, 1998 at 14:02:32

I've been looking through copies of Lynn Dudney's book, "The Dudney Trail", and something struck me about Abraham Lincoln and Mary Matilda Dudney. I was always under the belief that settled originally in Madison co., IA but I gather from Mr. Dudney's book that they originally settled in Clarke county. Can anybody shed any light on this. I am the g,g, grandson of George Washington Dudney.
