Dudney family in England

I am just starting to trace my Dudney family tree and i would be grateful for any information or help anyone can give.I was born in Eltham, London, England and my late father Leonard came from Plumstead in London. My grandfather was Stanley Dudney and i believe he came from that areaas well but he died a long time before i was born. My grandmothers name was Rose and i know she came from a Romany gypsy family. I am very new to this so i do not have a great deal of information at the moment. I believe we have family somewhere in Canada and we also have them in the Kent area. The Dudney family i am related to where Wesleyan Methodists and i believe that is how they ended up in Plumstead by following a preacher. Well if anyone has any ideas or information. I would love to hearfrom them.
