Hello from us Dudneys in Australia. We are descendent from John Dudney (cooper) b c1837 and m to Sarah Smith b c1838 Woolwich. Sarah's father Samuel Smith (bootmaker). It seems John is part of the William Dudney & Martha Padgen family (younger brother to Henry). John Dudneys ch are James Albert b c1864, William John b c1866, Samuel b 2Nov1868, bp 9Feb1869, George b c1875, d 1877 in Adelaide South Australia, and Mary b c1876.

The family emigrated to Adelaide on board the'Lochee' arriving 1Feb1877. John Dudney died at sea 15Dec1876. It does not appear Samuel came to Australia. Does anyone have any information on this family?
