Hi Kathy, I'm really sorry my first message did not get posted...I hope I can remember all I wrote. First off I want to say it was such a thrill to hear for the first time in my life the name of my Great Grandmother on my Dad's side. I need to tell you that the details of our family tree are sketchy at best, and I live overseas and don't have access to records so I don't know how much help I can be. We had no contact whatsoever with my Grandmother's family. I believe she moved to western Nebraska (Kimball) in the late 30's or early 40's and during my life did not return to Iowa, where I believe she was born; she had some family in Creston if I'm not mistaken and possibly was born there. She moved to Omaha and lived there for a while, but later moved to Kimball. She was somehow connected to a Dudney before or while in Omaha, the father of my Dad, but later married a Cole. Cole died when my Dad was around 10 I believe. I think Cole was the father of my aunt Bonnie. Our families lived close to one another when I was real young but Bonnie got divorced and moved further east with her 3 kids. (I'm still in touch with the second youngest daughter, Gail.) My Grandmother, your cousin, was a wonderful woman, a very hard worker and an awesome cook. She raise her two children virtually by herself. She died in McCook, NE., over 15 years ago, but you no doubt know that. Bonnie moved to Cheyenne many years ago and I am not sure if she is still living or not. This is probably not exactly what you were looking for, but if you let me know specifically what kinds of things you need I will do my best to help. Sincerely, Dick Dudney Notify Administrator about this message?
