I have read the book, The Dudney Trail, and according to the author the Dieudonne's came from France to Ireland then to Barbadoes and
then to Dorchester, Maryland and westward. The author is Lynn Dudney and lives in Texas and is currently compiling another book on the Dudney's. The Irish changed Dieudonne to
Dudney.
