Jeanene: THANKS for posting that indenture info !! This may be very important to us John DUDNEY researchers. John DUDNEY is listed on 1800 Anson Co. N. Car. census as over 50 years old and he died in 1809. Have not found his wife's name. He had at least 7 children, 4 girls and 3 sons. The sons were Arthur & James DUDNEY. Have not found the other son or the 4 girls. Maybe the Mary UPCHURCH. Nancy PAGE & Sarah ROSS are 3 of the girls and perhaps the Elizabeth DUDNEY was John's wife?
John DUDNEY's wife was listed on the 1800 Anson Co. N. Car. census as @40 yrs. old.
