Hi LaDale, Have been away from gen for awhile. My husband and I visited Arthur Due in Cave City at the Due Motel in the '70s. His daughter had John Wesley Due's Bible and I copied information from that for documentation. We also used to get the News and Views Arthur sent out. I saved all the ones I received. I have a lettet that John Wesley Due (the pastor) sent to his grandson, William Field Due when he was in the army after graduating from West Point. I also have the history and the update that Arthur Due wrote on the Due family. I was told by William Field Due, son of William Franklin Due, that the story about the swimming across the Mississippi River was not true. He did die there but not from that. I went to Memphis and found his death record, but could not find an obit. I have been working on the Due family from William Franklin Due (son of JOhn Wesley Due and Veronica Field. I have it pretty much up to date, and I have some of the information on John Wesley Due's other children but it is not complete. I would love to redo the booklet that Arthur did and bring it up to date on all the children and descendants of John Wesley Due. He was such a special person and should be remembered. Would you be interested? Sandra Wright Due
