Hello Trevia; Many Christian and Mary Dell Duer researchers have been interested in locating the Duer family cemetery at Rose Hill, with no luck. One descendant told me it was on private property and had no markers. Recently, I found information that C. F. Duer had a half sister who was a Mohl and married a man named Carl Court. In a narrative by Frederick Mohl Court, he states he grew up on a farm at Spring Creek, one mile from Rose Hill. He said Rose Hill was located in the northern part of Harris county on the stage road from Houston to Montgomery and Huntsville, and was the horse change stop for this stage. I don't know how Rose Hill got its name. I know a Duer descendant in the Houston area who is actively researching this subject. Let me know if you would like to contact her. Irene
