No, I am not a member of this family, and do not have further information. Yes, Worcester is adjacent to Somerset. My ancestors also lived n the Eastern Shore of Virginia in the early 1600's (having gone there from Jamestown); but they also owned land across the line in (now) Somerset County. You might want to check the records on Jamestown; I will check in my family information to see if any Duers are listed. I went to a great genealogy library in that area on the Eastern Shore, but can't remember exactly where it was. I think it is just across the state line in Maryland. I'll check on that. I think there is an association in that area called "Gotes" or something similar. I believe it is an acronym - maybe for Genealogy On The Eastern Shore (that is just a wild guess).
