William Duer married Henrietta Cowley

"My" Henrietta Cowley, older sister of my greatgrandmother Caroline Cowley, was born in England in 1851. She is reported (according to my late mother) to have married a William Duer, and they had "several children, all unknown to us," and their whereabouts also seem to have been unknown to my mother. I last find her on the 1871 Census, living with a related Priday family and working as a miliner. The rest of her family, parents and siblings, came to New Jersey soon after that, but I find no sign of her here by 1880, nor her marriage. I've checked 1900 Census Soundex films of several States with Duer entries on SSDI born 1870's to 1900, with no success. Any possible connection appreciated.
